Trudi Stander, the proprietor and orchestrator behind Mr & Miss Hartenbos, boasts an impressive career spanning over two decades in the media and events sector. Her extensive professional journey has seen her contribute to prominent publications and coordinate numerous high-profile events in both Gauteng and the Garden Route region since 2004.

Trudi’s diverse experience includes significant roles with renowned media outlets such as Ontbytsake, GetIt magazine, TechSmart Magazine, Capital Media, and BLOSS Magazine. Her proficiency extends into event management, where she has lent her expertise to a variety of successful ventures.

KIKI SMIT | Head Judge

Kiki Smit is a distinguished and internationally qualified Life Coach, specializing in relationship dynamics and Brain Spotting Trauma Therapy. She has earned recognition as a Family Law Mediator and has cultivated a thriving entrepreneurial career with ownership of five successful enterprises.

As the proprietor of Foodz establishments in Mossel Bay, George, and Knysna, Kiki has demonstrated exceptional leadership in the culinary industry. In addition to her culinary ventures, she imparts her knowledge as a public speaking coach, with over 15 years of experience coaching women of all ages, particularly in the realm of pageantry, such as Mrs. and Miss South Africa, as well as life coaching.

Kiki further serves as a conditioning coach at ACE Models in Mossel Bay and George, where she plays an integral role in grooming aspiring models. Her literary prowess shines through in her contributions to publications like Voelgoed magazine and numerous others. Beyond her professional pursuits, Kiki is deeply committed to charitable organizations, engaging in extensive philanthropic endeavors.

ANTON SIEBERT | Head Judge

Anton Siebert, a dedicated educator and community advocate, holds the esteemed position of one of our Head Judges for the Mr. & Miss Hartenbos competition. Anton’s passion for nurturing young minds is evident in his role as a primary school teacher at Diaz Primary School in D’Almeida, Mosselbay. He is unwavering in his commitment to the well-being and development of children, earning him the title of their ultimate superhero.

In addition to his educational role, Anton serves as a Provincial Rugby Coach for the SWD Eagles primary school team, where he imparts his expertise and leadership to the next generation of athletes.

Furthermore, Anton Siebert is the Co-Founder of Project Blessing Animal and Community Care NPC, demonstrating his dedication to community welfare and his love for animals.

Among his noteworthy accomplishments, Anton has distinguished himself as a finalist in the Mr. PE 2013 competition, securing the title of 2nd Runner-up in the prestigious Mr. South Africa pageant in 2021. His charisma and charm also earned him the title of Winner in the Garden Route Magazine Cover Face Competition in 2022. In 2023, Anton achieved the distinction of being the Runner-up in the Mr. Supranational South Africa competition and also Mr Category of the PPMC Magazine Cover Face Winner 2023.

MELODY RALPH ALERS | Judge, Backstage Manager & Choreographer

Melody Ralph Alers, hailing from Steps Dance Academy in Mosselbaai, holds a pivotal role in our grand finale as the Choreographer and Backstage Manager.

With a remarkable career spanning 25 years in the Entertainment industry, Melody is a distinguished figure in the field. She was also a Lector at Stagedoor College of Performing Arts, enriching the next generation of talents before they closed their doors.

Her choreography expertise has graced the stage alongside prominent South African artists, including Amor Vittone, Dirk vd Westhuizen, Anrika, and Steve Hofmeyer. She notably choreographed the prestigious Mr. South Africa pageant in 2005, demonstrating her remarkable creative vision and skill.

Furthermore, Melody has played a pivotal role in elevating South African talent onto the international stage, guiding dancers and teams representing South Africa in various international competitions as part of Team SA.

ELANI PRETORIUS | Judge & Co-Workshop Presenter

Elani is an esteemed professional in the field of modeling and image enhancement, currently serving as the Director of the Mosselbaai and George branches at Ace Models, an International Modeling Academy. Mosselbay and George won franchise of the year 2023, best showcase & also Miss Ace International 7-9yrs at the Ace Models International conference.

With over a decade of experience in the industry, Elani has established herself as a multifaceted talent. She is not only a seasoned professional photographer but also holds qualifications as an identity stylist.

Elani’s unwavering dedication is directed towards empowering and mentoring the youth and women of her community. She is passionate about assisting individuals, particularly her students, in recognizing their intrinsic worth and embracing their unique qualities.

Stellie Taute | Guest Judge

Stellie is the Owner and CEO of Loka Boutique in Mosselbay. Apart from the 3 Loka boutiques in South Africa, her Loka factory is based in Mosselbay. Stellie’s heart and compassion for women provide a platform through her LOKA brand for other women to become entrepreneurs.

Her passion for detail and design has taken the Loka brand to national stages like Mrs South Africa, which is the leading pageant for married women in SA. Stellie has designed several dresses for some of the finalists in 2022 and now again in 2023.

The SACBW (South Africa Council for Business Women) has also awarded a certificate of achievement to Stellie in 2022 for empowering and equipping other women through her business. She also continues to inspire and motivate women to become the best version of themselves.

Her vast business experience and expertise and the extra mile that she always walks for her clients, her agents, her staff, etc is part of her success story and why the LOKA brand has grown to more than 135k followers all over South Africa.
